Suzie has been a nurse for 29 years and has worked in anesthesia for 20 years. She has served as OSANA state president. She is currently serving as a director for the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology, as well as president of the Society of Obstetric Nurse Anesthesiology and Research. 

She works clinically as chief of OB Anesthesia in Scranton PA and serves as an Assistant professor in the online DNP program at the University of Cincinnati. 

She speaks nationally including at AANA National Congress 2024. Her academic focuses include obstetric anesthesia, advocacy, wellness, mental health, substance use disorder, and coping mechanisms. Her work with wellness led her to publish the book, The Path 365.
